• The largest monopole in Bourgogne, Clos Marey-Monge benefits from a unique environment. At the base of the hill of Pommard, the complexity of the soils comes from the alluvia, sand and gravel carried by the Avant-Dheune River a thousand years ago. The blend of the seven cuvées from the limestone and clay-rich soils creates a deep, elegant, and sophisticated Pinot Noir.
• The 2011 vintage showcases elegant tannins, balance of freshness and structure, with a earthy long finish. Hand-harvested and hand-sorted grapes.100% whole-cluster destemmed. Weeks-long maceration. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Aging on fine lees.
